KRQE CARES PROVIDES SCHOOLS WITH SHOES AND BOOKS

Through financial support of viewers and sponsors like Molina Healthcare, WisePies Pizza, GVI Law and Kirtland Credit Union, KRQE Cares has put more than 26,000 pairs of shoes on students’ feet. Through their continued partnership with the Assistance League of Albuquerque, 100% of the donations is used to purchased shoes, socks, and book bags for the program. But KRQE staff and volunteers will tell you that the best part of the program is watching each child try on their new pair of shoes.
