KOB-TV in Albuquerque New Mexico has a unique opportunity for a seasoned, experienced Local Sales professional.  This position requires extensive knowledge of broadcast TV commercial and digital media sales and an excellent reputation for building relationships with direct local and agency clients. The successful candidate will inherit a list of businesses made up of advertising agencies and local direct clients. High level negotiation skills are a must. 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Sell television schedules and digital media to local accounts and/or advertising agencies using available sales tools. Conduct sales and servicecalls. Prospect and develop new business. Prepare proposals and presentations. Meet revenue goals. Maintain good working relationships with clients, local agencies, station management and station's sales department. Area of concentration will be the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area.

Minimum of 4 years local market media sales experience. Aggressive self-starter and skilled closer. Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills. Proven track record in new business and non-traditional revenue development. Ability to listen and communicate ideas effectively. This is a full-time commission position. Knowledge of WideOrbit, Nielsen, Matrix a plus. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.  Driving record will be checked. 

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. The Company will make reasonable physical accommodations to facilitate the ability to perform essential job functions. Work requires extensive around town driving to service accounts and prospect for new business.
